ミリカローデン那珂川リニューアル工事4期(生涯学習センター)・グランドオープンMirikaroden Nakagawa

4期工事では既存の田園ひろばに面した和室と駐車場に面した工作室(改修後はラボ)の位置を入れ替えた。ものづくりをはじめとしたサークル活動を行うラボは外部から活動を垣間見ることができるようになり、和室は静かで落ち着いた場所になるよう計画した。ラボの外部には活動を屋外に拡張できるように新しくデッキを配置した。デッキではイベント時には合唱や演舞の発表用ステージに変化し、これまで行われていなかった活動を促すことを意図している。様々なジャンルの文化交流によって化学反応が起こり、市民による新たな地域づくりのきっかけが生まれることを願っている。

In the fourth phase of construction of the project, the locations of the tatami room facing the existing rural plaza and the workshop facing the parking area—renovated into a laboratory—were exchanged. By repositioning the laboratory, where circle activities such as making and crafting take place, these activities are now visible from the outside, while the tatami room was planned as a quiet and calm space. A new deck was added adjacent to the laboratory to allow activities to extend outdoors. During events, the deck transforms into a stage for choral performances and traditional dances, with the intention of encouraging activities that had not previously taken place. Through cultural exchange across a wide range of genres, we hope that new synergies will emerge and that this space will become a catalyst for citizen-led community development.
