ガラス張りのモダンなクリニックが多いことに違和感を感じ、もう少し街と関わりのあるデザインが出来ないものかといつも感じていた。そこで、本計画では診療所を利用することのない人にとっても何らかの役割を担うことができないかと考えた。敷地は、目の前にあるスーパーに通う人や散歩の途中の人が多く通り過ぎる場所に位置するため、敷地内に植栽に囲まれたちょっと休憩することができる場所を設ける提案をした。それぞれの建築が求められた機能に少し幅を持たせることで、街が少しずつ変わっていくのではないかと期待している。

Recently, many modern clinics are using glass façade for their buildings without consider about its relationship with the local city characteristics. The site is located in a place where many people passing to go to the supermarket in the front. Therefore, the idea is trying to make design that not only for those who come to the clinic. It also become a place where people can take a rest for a while surrounded by the planting. Thus, we hope that our design could stimulate the neighbors to create good city and environment for anyone to live.
