門司港改修Mojiko Reform

海峡に面する超高層マンションの改修計画｡改修前は眺めの良い海側の窓が幾つかの部屋に分断されていた。その間仕切りを取り払い、部屋の中心にキッチン据え、収納を兼ねた家具でそのキッチンを囲った。外からの視線が気にならない、この場所だからこその開放感のある生活環境が得られた。漆喰壁は若松の若き左官職人大前恵則氏による。

It is the renovation project of high rise apartment that facing the sea. Before, the good sea side facing facade was divided into several rooms. Our idea is to remove the partitions, put the kitchen in the center of the room, and surrounded the kitchen with furniture that also served as storage. Without thinking so much about view from outside, we designed a living space with openness. The plaster wall is in collaboration with Mr. Omae, a young local Japanese craftsman from Wakamatsu.
