ひだまり
特別養護老人ホーム・小規模多機能・グループホーム・ショートステイの複合型高齢者福祉施設。線路に面し、多くの人の目に触れる敷地であるため、壁面を緑化し、春はジャスミン、初夏はケイカカズラの花が賑わっている。また、寝たきりの入居者も多いことから、ベッドに居ながらにしてプランターに植えられた花々を眺めることが出来る計画とした。高齢者福祉施設では人材確保が大きなテーマとなっている。コストと効率が最優先される高齢者施設で、少しでも働きやすく、そしてそこで働くことが誇りに思えるような高齢者施設建築が出来ないものかと考え、その想いを沢山の草花に委ねた。

ひだまりテラス
北九州の中心地にある特別養護老人ホーム。市の中心に位置していることもあり、多くの家族や友人が訪ねてくれることを期待している。特に一階のカフェエリアでは、様々なイベントが可能なように、キッチンを据え、自由に形を変えることができるテーブルを設け、窓際ではゆっくり家族と触れ合うことができるスペースを確保している。入居者を中心として、地域と家族とスタッフが一緒になることができる施設を目指している。

Hidamari
A multifunction nursing home for elderly includes of group home, short stay, and welfare facilities. The site is facing the railroad and can be seen by many people, so we design the wall with greenery, the jasmine for spring, and the flower blooming in the early summer. As there are many bedridden tenants, the idea is to let the elderly see the flowers while staying in bed. On the other hand, security is also becoming a major concern. Think of cost and efficiency as priority, we tried to create a building for the elderly so that they can feel pride for working for plenty of flowers.

Hidamari Terrace
It is a special nursing home for the elderly in the center of Kitakyushu. Located in the center of the city, we hope families and friends to come and visit their relation. For that reason we created a special space for the cafe area in the 1st floor. We designed a table that could freely transform, placed the kitchen area so that various events could be held, and also created the fully open windows side to create relaxing views and activities around. Our main concern is to create a facility that allows elderly, families, friends, local residents and staff to have time together.
