樹を掴む家Grasping tree house

敷地は小倉の市街地からほど近く、山麓にある古くからの住宅街の一区画。夫婦二人がそれぞれ居場所をもち、好きな時間を過ごしていながらも、お互いの気配を感じることが出来る家を目指した。概ね実現出来ているのではないかと思う。西側の調整池と向き合い、日々移り変わる樹々の姿や鳥たちの様子が生活の一部となるよう心がけた。空調機はPSを採用し、中間期は上部の排気窓から暖気を抜き、室内に空気の流れをつくる計画としている。

The site is located close to the city center of Kokura, a part of an old residential area at the hill. Lived by a couple who wanted a house where they could feel the signs of each other while having a private time. To realize this idea, we adjust the house floor level depend on their activities. The city view with nature pond, trees, and birds are facing to the west side has became part of their life which they still want to preserve. Therefore, the PS air conditioning systems are installed to deal with the strong sunlight in afternoon and control the thermal indoor in any season.
