近年まで海外で生活していた仲の良い家族のための住宅。子供3人が一緒に勉強をしたい、ということが最も印象的な要望であった。山に向かう長さ5.4mのデスクで勉強してもらうことにした、デスクから眺める景色が子供たちの記憶に残って貰えればと願っている。1階では中庭に向かってリビングを開くことにより、季節を感じて過ごせる家に出来たのではないだろうか。夏は暑く、冬も寒い北部九州に於いて、中間期は風を入れ、夏冬は気密性を保つ開口部のディテールを求めた。内装はラワン合板塗装品、アンゼルハウスの協力によるもの。

A house is lived by very friendly family who had been living abroad recently. They requested a home environment so that they can study together with their three children. The idea is to create good scenery from the desk with hope that the children will remember the moment they spend with the family. Through some studies we decided to design a desk with 5.4 meters length facing the mountain outside. The first floor can be fully open towards the courtyard so the change of different season can be felt. Located in the northern of Kyushu Island where the climate is hot summer and cold winter. Therefore, in the middle period the windows can be fully open, while in the summer and winter, the air-tightness will keep the indoor thermal. Interior decoration is in cooperation with Raun plywood paintings and Anzel House.
